They Paid, But Never Saw the Project: Checkatrade Disaster.
My rundown with Checkatrade was a complete shambles. I hired a trader through their platform to complete some vital home repairs. They looked legitimate at first, but it turned out a terrible ordeal.
Even though I paid the full amount upfront, the work completely vanished into thin air. Getting a response became impossible. It's been weeks, and I'm still left with a house in disarray.
The platform itself has been beyond frustrating throughout this whole process. They provided empty promises. It feels like I've been scammed.
- Stay far, far away from Checkatrade.
- Don't fall into the same trap I did.
